Alexandrite crystal vase produced by the renowned Kristall Krisla factory, a historic brand from Colle di Val d'Elsa, the heart of Italian crystal production, designed by architect Taddei in the 1970s. It has an elongated rectangular shape, characterised by a striking contrast between the frosted finish and the sections of transparent, polished crystal. This interplay of transparency and opacity enhances its shapes, creating an interesting tactile and visual effect. The amethyst colour (a delicate lilac\/lavender, as indicated on the box and visible in the images) is particularly charming, giving the piece a unique shine and transparency, typical of lead crystal. The peculiarity of this type of material, however, lies mainly in the fact that the colour shifts from lilac to blue tones depending on the refraction of light. The labels are a great added value; \u2019LEAD 24% PBO CRYSTAL\u2018 certifies the high quality of the material, which is 24% lead crystal. The original box is a rare addition that confirms its authenticity, the specific model (\u2019Vaso 710\u2018) and the colour.
