Alexandrite crystal vase produced by the renowned Kristall Krisla factory, a historic brand from Colle di Val d'Elsa, the heart of Italian crystal production, designed by Arch. Taddei-Sestini in the 1970s. It has a cylindrical or slightly conical shape at the top, which widens into a sculptural, shaped base. The entire surface is characterised by complex vertical ribbing and irregular indentations, creating a striking visual and tactile effect. This dynamic design plays beautifully with light, reflecting and refracting it in multiple directions. The amethyst colour (a delicate lilac\/lavender) is particularly charming, giving the piece a unique shine and transparency typical of lead crystal. The peculiarity of this type of material, however, lies mainly in the fact that the colour shifts from shades of lilac to blue depending on the refraction of light. The labels are a great added value; \u2019LEAD 24% PBO CRYSTAL\u2018 certifies the high quality of the material, which is 24% lead crystal. The original box is a rare addition that confirms its authenticity, the specific model (\u2019Vaso 706\u2018) and the colour.
