It has a square shape, characterised by a striking contrast between the frosted finish and the transparent and polished crystal sections of the geometric decorations. This play of transparency and opacity enhances its shape, creating an interesting tactile and visual effect. The amethyst colour (a delicate lilac\/lavender, as indicated on the box and visible in the pictures) is particularly fascinating, giving the piece a unique lustre and transparency typical of lead crystal. The particularity of this type of material, however, lies mainly in the fact that the colour changes from lilac to light blue depending on the refraction of light.
