Iconic ceiling lamp model 'Fun', designed in the 1960s by Verner Panton for the Danish company Luber. Its structure is composed of a round wooden ceiling element covered with satin silver-plated metal from which, arranged in 3 rows of concentric circles, small chains of different heights with circular metal links descend, supporting mother-of-pearl discs. The illuminating body is inserted in the centre of the structure and the light bulbs are concealed between the mother-of-pearl elements and, when switched on, create truly fascinating plays of light and transparency. The sound caused by the movement and contact of the bulbs is also truly suggestive. Some signs of time and minor defects (the bulb holder is easily replaceable) testify to its long history without compromising its great charm and functionality.<\/p>\n
