Large crystal vase series 'Rainbow', design Fundamental Berlin

Large polyhedral crystal vase model 'Regenbogen' designed and manufactured by Fundamental Berlin. This object is a masterpiece of craftsmanship; it is carved from a solid monolithic block of heavy crystal, ground and polished by hand over many days by skilled craftsmen, achieving a brilliance that only hand-cut crystal can offer. At its top, a round hollow is perfectly shaped to accommodate flowers or other objects. The real magic, however, occurs on the surface; each piece in the 'Rainbow' series is treated with a special dichroic film. This treatment not only reflects light, but also amplifies and distorts it, creating a dynamic and spectacular effect. As you move around the object, its surface comes alive with iridescent, iridescent colours, alternating in a spectrum of shades from deep blue and bright green to purple, pink and gold. The photos show this perfectly, with rainbow reflections also projecting onto the surrounding surfaces.
